
Dr Afridi is a caring and dedicated consultant psychiatrist who moved to Australia from overseas to fulfil his dreams of working in mental health.
After gaining general registration with the Medical Board of Australia, he entered the psychiatry training program and completed his training in Queensland.
He completed stages one and two at Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina, and Southport Health Precinct.
He then moved to Metrosouth Mental Health Services in Brisbane and Logan, where he worked at a Life Promotion Clinic (Suicide Prevention and Research Centre) and Logan Hospital, including GP liaison training
to complete his advanced training.
After gaining Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), he started working as a Locum Consultant in different states of Australia, including WA, Victoria, Queensland, and Tasmania.
He worked at different hospitals as an in-patient psychiatrist and in the community at various hospitals and community mental health centres, including Rockingham General Hospital, Perth Children Hospital, Bendigo Hospital, Toowoomba Hospital, Townsville Hospital and Royal Hobart Hospital.
He has also worked as a telehealth psychiatrist for over 18 months for another service in Australia.
He has an extensive experience in psychiatry.
Dr Afridi can speak different languages, including Pashto, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi and has been part of " A Better Culture"- IMG reference Group.
His areas of interest include ADHD, ASD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorders, Personality disorders, Schizophrenia, Alcohol and other illicit substance use disorders.

Dr Anantha Pratap Reddy Kovvuri is a consultant psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience across India, the UK, New Zealand and Australia. He specialises in adult psychiatry and currently works with the Royal Hobart Hospital and TeleThoughts. His experience includes leadership roles such as Clinical Director of Mental Health Services at Southern DHB. Dr Kovvuri provides comprehensive, person-centred care using a blend of medication management and evidence-based psychological therapies.

Dr Hammad Mahmoud is a consultant psychiatrist with broad experience in adult mental health, psychiatric rehabilitation and geriatric psychiatry. He manages conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorders, psychosis and personality disorders, and also provides psychotherapy. He is a Fellow of the RANZCP and holds additional qualifications including a Kuwait Psychiatry Board and an MSc in Neuropsychiatry

Dr. Samia Arefin provides telepsychiatry care to patients across Australia. Originally from Bangladesh, she speaks Bengali and English fluently. She has experience treating mood disorders, addiction, and eating disorders, combining expert care with a compassionate approach.
